Direct ABA | Social Skills | Behavior Consulting | Parent Training | Supervision
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is a scientific approach to understanding behavior. ABA refers to a set of principles that focus on how or why behaviors change, are affected by the environment, as well as how learning takes place. ABA can be used to teach, strengthen, maintain, shape, and modify many different skills and behaviors.
On Saturdays throughout the month, Social Skills is offered for middle and high school ages looking to improve communication skills, relationships, understanding boundaries, and much more. Using the AIM (Accept. Identify. Move.) curriculum, participants will be able to better understand the benefits of being psychologically flexible to increase/improve social interactions.
Behavior Consulting is available to those who do not want direct ABA therapy, but may want help increasing or decreasing a certain skill/behavior, as well as for professionals seeking tips or advice on working with others who may display new or uncommon behaviors.
Parent/caregiver training is provided so that the client's family unit is able to continue to teach, strengthen, and modify skills and behaviors outside of therapy sessions. Communication between all those involved is essential in creating a positive and valuable experience.
Supervision is offered to graduate students seeking direct or indirect practicum hours
